Whitt Law would like to congratulate Rochester School Superintendent Tom Bertrand, who was named 2015 Illinois Superintendent of the Year. Superintendent Bertrand received the honor during the Illinois Association of School Administrators, Illinois Association of School Boards, and Illinois Association of School Business Officials annual joint conference held in Chicago. He is the Superintendent of Rochester Community Unit School District 3A in Rochester, Illinois. Prior to serving as superintendent, Dr. Bertrand was a teacher, coach, principal, and assistant superintendent. He has been an educator for 28 years.

Dr. Thomas Bertrand became Superintendent to Rochester CUSD3A in 2002. He directed the District’s effort to develop a state- and nationally-recognized anti-bullying program, lead the design and development of multi-stage construction projects that combined for a new campus, and worked to overhaul the district’s technology infrastructure. Whitt Law would like to thank Dr. Bertrand for his hard work and dedication, and congratulate him on receiving this award.
