Professional Experience:

Catherine M. "Katie" Hough joined Whitt Law LLC shortly after completion of her legal education at Chicago-Kent College of Law where she served as Executive Submissions Editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of International and Comparative Law. While in law school, Ms. Hough served an externship with the U. S. Department of Homeland Security in Citizenship and Immigration Services and also served a one-year clerkship at the City of Chicago Department of Law, Building and Land Use Litigation Division. Prior to joining Whitt Law, Ms. Hough served as an analyst and editor for a national publishing firm on a variety of state tax issues. Since joining the firm, Ms. Hough has focused her efforts on various school matters, including the assessment of nuclear power stations, landfills and other special purpose properties.
