For more than a quarter century, the team at Whitt Law LLC has represented some of the fastest growing school districts in Illinois, helping them in the important task of school construction. Our attorneys have provided leadership and counsel in the acquisition of school sites as well as the financing and construction of 4 high schools, 20 middle schools and more than 35 elementary schools - over $1 billion in construction.
Our experience in the many aspects of education law allows us to expeditiously guide a district through the entire school construction process. Consider Oswego East High School, which was approved by the voters in November 2002. Our attorneys served as an integral part of the team charged with the responsibility of selecting, acquiring, and developing the 100-acre school site and constructing the building - all at break neck speed so that it was ready for students on September 1, 2004.
