Your TRS Rulebook: Having Solid Understanding of TRS Regulations, Including a Newly Amended Salary Rule, Can Help You Quickly Resolve Employment Issues – Brittany Flaherty Theis and Stuart L. Whitt’s latest article – is available in the Winter edition of Illinois ASBO’s UPDATE. The article covers the basics of the TRS 170-day rule, along with tips for navigating its implications in tricky employment situations. The article also highlights the requirements for settlement agreements used to cover employment issues that affect service and earnings credits.
